Oh Glory Glory, the day has come. I have had my radio show now for, oh, about eight months or so. These days I find myself lagging where techno-know-how is concerned, sorry for the delay. At one point I felt I was on top of these things… these days… maybe not so much. But alas, my radio show is ready for you folks to listen to. As many miles away from Jackson, Wyoming as you find yourself these days, it’s all good, because I’m bring “The Stew” to you. Thanks for tuning in to 89.1 KHOL, Jackson’s one and only community radio staion. Volunteer driven, listener supported, community radio at its damn finest, if I do say so. KHOL has been a blessing to me. I have learned so much from the people I have met through volunteering at there. I have been exposed to so much new music and had my musical horizons broadened so much that my life truly has been changed. I watch little television, I spend very little time on the computer just perusing around. I listen to music and I spend time outdoors, taking in everything that this world can offer me. Music is such a large part of that offering. Music can simulate any emotion, or trigger any others. This radio show has become an extension of myself, as one would expect. I play what I feel (the beauty of community radio) and I love it. I hope that you enjoy these musical playlogs, as well as whatever commentary I throw in there. This particular show I found the music to be pretty good though fairly predictable, while the commentary pretty weak… guess I had a few good brews from Jackson’s own Thai Me Up restaurant and microbrewery on VD. After all, the show does start at 10am and unless you’re skiing it can be hard to shake the effects of some heady micro-brews and white russians. This recording misses the first two songs. You can look below for the entire play log to see what you missed, and also what you’re hearing as the music progresses. This was kinda a test-run, though things went pretty well. Next week I’ll get the whole two hour show. Without further ado, here is my first, internationally public, radio show. The 02.05.11 version of, “The Stew.” I hope you like what you hear, please do let me know, and check back every week for the newest installment of “The Stew.” Take care out there folks, and pump that volume. Just check the link above.
