I have decided that I will begin to include when the songs played are live on my play log.  I relish the live performance.  I have more respect these days for the qualities and intricacies  of a studio produced album, however listening to music recorded in a live session generally brings out whole new dimensions to songs.  This is especially true in the “jammier,” improvisational genres I spend a lot of time listening to. So, in short, I like it live. Now, if you chose to listen to these shows, and I hope you do, you will know beforehand which tracks are live and which are from studio albums. Do know also that all live tracks played are from officially released albums, no audience recorded bootlegs. FCC. Enjoy!
